Mattes Quilted Anatomic Girth

The anatomy of the horse is very important. 

The Mattes Anatomic girth is designed for horses with the girth groove far enough away from the elbow of the horse.  The girth is cut back in the front and the rear of the elbow area.  It is a versatile girth which provides usage in both directions.

To avoid rubbing and chafing MATTES have developed a very special design with integrated cross-webbing and spreader inserts resulting in even pressure distribution and prevents wrinkling or contraction of the girth.  The narrow part of the girth gives plenty of room for the elbow movement without loosing stability.

The girth base and cover are machine washable, it is recommended to use the specially formulated MELP detergent to best care for the fleece.
