What is the purpose of RedHOT Paste
RedHOT Paste is a bitter tasting paste that can be brushed onto surfaces to deter horses and other animals from chewing, biting, and windsucking.
Features & Advantages
Simple to operate in confined spaces. Animals will no longer chew on fence posts, bandages, leg wraps, rugs, or tails. Coating hard surfaces where animals like to chew is effective (stables, stalls, trailers, kennels).
Windsucking may be reduced.
Use with caution around dogs and livestock.
Capsaicin 3.5mg per gramme
Please be aware that capsaicin is a substance that is prohibited in the equine industry (racing, harness and FEI). Kelato recommends that if you are competing or racing, you consult your veterinarian or regulatory authority prior to use.
Directions
Brush the supplied brush or a rag over the surface you wish to protect. RedHOT Paste is known to be stain-resistant. However, if you are concerned, we recommend testing a small, inconspicuous area.
Avoid contact with the eyes, nostrils, or mucous membranes by wearing gloves.
If applied incorrectly, it can be gently scrubbed away with soapy water.
