What Counts as a Cat Product Here?
A cat product on this hub is something used for feline feeding, waste, play, housing hardware or coat care, not a horse or dog item with a cat photo on the pack.
Children of this page go deeper on one job. Use the parent to pick the job, then open the child. The usual splits are:
How Is Cat Feeding Different from Dog Feeding?
Cats need a diet built around animal protein and taurine. Dog food is formulated for a different species and is not a safe default ration for a cat.
If you shop for both species, keep cat food on this tree and dog rations on dog food and dog treats. Shared “pet food” language hides that split.
Litter Is a Waste System, Not an Accessory Drawer
Litter has to clump or absorb, control odour, and sit in a tray the cat will enter. That is a different purchase from a bowl or a collar.
Scratching posts and wands belong with toys. Trays and substrate stay on the litter page so you do not mix a hygiene system with play.
Play Uses a Hunt Sequence
Cats chase, pounce and kick. A gym or wand that lets them complete that sequence is doing a different job from a feeder.
Dog toys are built for chewing and retrieve. For canine play, use dog toys rather than a cat gym.
Skin Care Is Topical, Not a Meal
Coat sprays, washes and similar topicals sit on the skin and hair. They do not replace complete food, and they are not a diagnosis.
If the cat needs a daily ration change, that is still the food child. Oral feline add-ons sit on cat supplements; canine-labelled powders sit on dog supplements.
When to Shop the Dog Tree Instead
Collars, leads and walking gear are dog equipment. Cats on this site are not sold a parallel walking silo.
For leads and walking hardware use dog collars and leads, and for coat brushing on dogs use dog grooming. The wider dog hub is the sibling species page, not a synonym for cat.
How to Care for Cat Gear
Wash bowls separately from litter scoops. Food residue in a tray, or litter dust in a feeder, is a hygiene problem rather than a product feature.
Follow each maker's wash instructions. Heat can warp plastic trays and fade wand feathers.
Fit, Size and Compatibility
Tray size, gym footprint and collar or harness openings vary by maker. There is no single cat size chart across this collection.
Measure the space you have and the cat you have. A kitten gym does not become an adult feeding plan by adding a bigger bowl.
