We puppies begin teething around the age of four months and continue until our baby teeth are replaced by adult canines and molars. We like to explore the world with our mouths during this time.

Instead of allowing me to chew on the furniture, my mother gave me a puppy toy. Even though it resembles a bone, it is safe for chewing as it is made entirely of natural rubber.

I've been told that chewing also helps to strengthen teeth and gums. Chewing helps to alleviate pain and strengthen teeth and gums. That means I'm set for a lifetime of bone-chewing, frisbee-catching, and tug-of-war (my fur-vourite game).
