Kohnke Gastro Coat is designed to supplement your horse diet and assist in the health of the Gastro-Intestinal Tract of Horses.
It contains natural mucilage compounds that assist saliva in maintaining normal physiological and optimum digestive conditions within the stomach and upper small intestine of horses.
Many feed mixes that contain grains and protein meals in ready-mixed and stable-mixed feeds are inherently low in the compounds contained in Gastro Coat. The heat processing of grains further damages the natural mucilages which help to maintain optimum conditions for digestion. When supplemented in the feed, natural mucilages may help the action of chewing and salivation to maintain normal gastric and upper intestinal function.
